Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities

• Verify medicines against order details to ensure the correct product, brand, strength, dosage form, and quantity.
• Check medicine names, batch numbers, expiry dates, packaging, and product condition.
• Ensure that the medicines picked for customer orders match the prescribed or ordered products, as applicable.
• Identify and report incorrect, damaged, expired, or mismatched medicines.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of medicines as per established warehouse procedures.
• Maintain accuracy in medicine verification and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinate with warehouse picking, packing, and dispatch teams to resolve product-related discrepancies.
• Maintain records of verification activities and report quality issues to the concerned team.
• Follow applicable pharmacy regulations and internal quality standards.

Qualification:

• Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
• Valid pharmacist registration with the respective State Pharmacy Council, as applicable to the role and location.
• Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
• Basic knowledge of medicines, pharmaceutical products, dosage forms, strengths, and expiry management.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Basic computer knowledge and record-keeping skills.
