Medha Resort is looking for an experienced and responsible Restaurant Manager to manage day-to-day restaurant operations, supervise staff, maintain service quality, control costs, and ensure a high standard of guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete daily operation of the restaurant.
• Supervise waiters, stewards, cooks, kitchen helpers, housekeeping and support staff.
• Prepare staff duty rosters and ensure proper attendance and discipline.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen to maintain timely order preparation and smooth service.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, portion size and guest service standards.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve service issues quickly.
• Ensure tables, dining areas, kitchen surroundings and service stations remain clean and organized.
• Monitor stock of food ingredients, beverages, cleaning materials and restaurant supplies.
• Coordinate purchasing and maintain proper inventory control.
• Reduce food wastage, pilferage and unnecessary operating expenses.
• Monitor daily sales, bills, cash/UPI collections and basic restaurant accounts.
• Ensure correct billing and proper closing procedures at the end of each day.
• Train restaurant staff in grooming, hygiene, menu knowledge, order taking and customer service.
• Maintain food-safety, kitchen hygiene and restaurant cleanliness standards.
• Check that all menu items are available and coordinate with the cook regarding preparation and stock.
• Manage busy-hour operations and ensure guests receive orders on time.
• Support management in promotions, special events, group bookings and resort functions.
• Prepare basic daily reports on sales, stock, staff attendance, complaints and operational issues.

Menu Knowledge Required

The manager should be comfortable supervising service for Medha Resort's menu, including starters and pakora, rolls and wraps, biryani and rice, quick bites, Chinese dishes, tea and coffee, mocktails, refreshments and ice cream.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates should preferably have previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, F&B Supervisor, Captain or Senior Steward in a restaurant, hotel, resort or café.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership and communication skills, good knowledge of restaurant operations, staff handling, guest relations, inventory control, billing, food costing and hygiene standards. Basic computer/POS knowledge will be preferred.

Preferred Profile

A disciplined, presentable and customer-focused person who can independently manage the restaurant during the full operating shift and coordinate effectively with the resort management.
