Job Description
Company: BroomBoom Transportation Services Private Limited.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic SEO Intern to join our Digital Marketing team. The intern will gain practical experience in Search Engine Optimization, keyword research, content optimization, website analysis, and SEO reporting while working on real projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research using SEO tools.
- Assist in On-Page SEO activities, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs and internal linking.
- Perform competitor and website SEO analysis.
- Assist with technical SEO audits and identify basic website issues.
- Support Off-Page SEO and link-building activities.
- Find relevant websites and opportunities for backlinks and guest posting.
- Assist in optimizing website content for search engines.
- Monitor Google Search Console and Google Analytics data.
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic and other SEO performance metrics.
- Prepare regular SEO reports and performance summaries.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm changes and current SEO practices.
- Coordinate with the Content, Web Development and Digital Marketing teams.
Skills Required
- Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing.
- Basic knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics is an advantage.
- Understanding of keyword research and content optimization.
- Good English reading and writing skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to learn and work on practical SEO projects.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Educational Qualification
- Students pursuing or recently completed BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, BA, BCom, BSc or a related course.
- Candidates with a SEO Certification will have an advantage.
