Job Description
Position: Accountant
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Multiple Locations in Kolkata
Salary: ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per month (Depending on experience, qualifications, and skill set)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and reliable Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate bookkeeping, handling invoicing, and assisting with tax compliance and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Accounting: Maintain and update daily financial transactions, ledger entries, cash flow, and bank reconciliations.
Invoicing & Billing: Generate invoices, manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), and follow up on payments.
Taxation & Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial statements, profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and expense reports for management review.
Documentation: Ensure all financial records, vouchers, and bills are properly filed and audit-ready.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
Experience: 3-4 years of proven experience in accounting.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime, MS Excel, and computerized accounting systems.
Good knowledge of GST, taxation rules, and basic financial regulations.
Soft Skills:
Strong numerical aptitude with high attention to detail.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
