Accountant/ Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Reporting:

• Maintain and manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts on a regular basis
• Process invoices, payments, and manage cash flow efficiently
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions

Taxation & Compliance:

• Prepare and file GST returns (monthly/quarterly) and ensure timely compliance
• Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and filing of TDS returns
• Assist in Income Tax return preparation and filing
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and regulatory bodies
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and tax assessments

Accounts Management:

• Manage vendor and customer ledgers, ensuring accurate record-keeping
• Process employee reimbursements and expense reports
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables, and follow up on collections

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Zoho Books or similar cloud-based accounting software
• Knowledge of service industry accounting practices
• Familiarity with contract-based billing and project accounting
• Experience in handling statutory audits and tax assessments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
