Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Auditor to join our CA Firm in Dalhousie, Kolkata. The candidate should have strong practical experience in statutory audit, tax audit, GST, TDS, income tax compliance, accounting review and reconciliation.

• Key ResponsibilitiesConduct Statutory Audit, Tax Audit and Internal Audit assignments.
• Prepare and verify audit working papers, schedules and supporting documents.
• Review books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers and financial statements.
• Handle GST compliance, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and ITC reconciliation.
• Handle TDS returns, reconciliation and related compliance.
• Assist with Income Tax Return preparation and tax-related matters.
• Perform bank, ledger, debtor/creditor and other account reconciliations.
• Identify accounting errors, discrepancies and compliance issues.
• Coordinate with clients for documents, information and audit requirements.
• Assist in tax assessments, audits and departmental notices/proceedings.
• Prepare MIS and other reports as required by seniors/partners.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned audit and compliance work.
• Requirements5–7 years of relevant experience in a CA Firm preferred.
• Strong practical knowledge of Audit, GST, TDS and Income Tax.
• Good knowledge of accounting and reconciliation.
• Experience in preparing audit working papers and financial statements.
• Good command of MS Excel and accounting software/Tally.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Good client communication and coordination skills.
• Candidates with frequent job changes or primarily academic experience may not be preferred.
