Service Advisor, Honda Red Wing Workshop

Location: Kolkata | Reports to: Workshop / Service Manager | Experience: 1–3 years in two-wheeler service

Role Summary

Be the main point of contact for customers at the service reception. Understand their concerns, open accurate job cards, and make sure their scooter or motorcycle is delivered on time with a clear explanation of the work done.

• Key Responsibilities
• Greet customers, understand vehicle complaints, and inspect the vehicle with them at reception.
• Create accurate job cards with estimates for cost and delivery time.
• Explain recommended repairs, periodic maintenance and paid services, and get customer approval for additional work.
• Coordinate with technicians and the floor supervisor on job progress, and update customers on any delays.
• Check completed work before delivery, explain the invoice, and hand over the vehicle.
• Promote AMC, extended warranty, Honda genuine parts, oils and accessories.
• Make service reminder and post-service follow-up calls to drive repeat visits and CSI.
• Handle complaints politely and escalate unresolved issues to the Service Manager.
• Maintain records in the DMS and follow HMSI service processes and standards.
• Requirements
• Diploma or ITI in Automobile/Mechanical, or a graduate with a strong automobile interest.
• 1–3 years as a service advisor or in a similar role at a two-wheeler dealership; freshers with good technical knowledge can also apply.
• Basic understanding of scooter and motorcycle systems and common faults.
• Good communication in the local language and Hindi/English, with a pleasant, customer-friendly manner.
• Basic computer skills; experience with DMS is a plus.
• Two-wheeler licence required.
