Business Development Executive (BDE) – Kalyani Films & Photo

Kalyani Films & Photo is a professional wedding photography and cinematic film studio based in New Town, Kolkata. We are looking for a confident, smart and client-focused Business Development Executive to handle new client enquiries and convert genuine leads into confirmed bookings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle new client enquiries received through phone, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and other platforms.

• Call clients, understand their wedding/event requirements, dates, venue, budget and expectations.

• Conduct professional online and offline client meetings.

• Present our photography, cinematography, packages, portfolio and deliverables professionally.

• Share and explain quotations and answer client questions.

• Follow up with interested clients and maintain proper lead records.

• Handle price discussions and negotiations professionally within company guidelines.

• Convert qualified leads into confirmed bookings.

• Coordinate the booking process and advance payment collection/update.

• Maintain accurate lead, follow-up and payment records using company systems.

• Coordinate confirmed bookings with the internal team.

Candidate Requirements:

• Excellent communication and convincing skills.

• Must be fluent in Bengali and Hindi, with good professional English communication.

• Strong sales, negotiation and client-handling skills.

• Comfortable speaking with clients over phone and conducting meetings.

• Should have a professional, confident and pleasant personality.

• Experience in sales, business development, client handling, hospitality, wedding/event industry or photography will be an advantage.

• Freshers with excellent communication and sales ability may also be considered.

• Basic knowledge of WhatsApp, Google Sheets/Excel and computers is preferred.

Important: This is primarily an office-based business development and client-handling role with occasional client meetings/field visits.
