Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Title: Supervisor

Department: Production / Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

1. Employee Work Monitoring: Monitor employees' work, track individual production output, and maintain employee-wise production and work-progress records.
2. Material Inspection: Inspect incoming materials, monitor in-process materials and work-in-progress, and inspect outgoing materials to ensure they meet specified requirements. Report any defects or discrepancies to management.
3. Challan and Material Movement Records: Maintain records of incoming and outgoing material challans, including challan entries, dispatch details, material receipts, and transfers.
4. Material Stock Management: Maintain accurate stock registers and records of material receipts, issues, consumption, and available stock.
5. Tools and Equipment Management: Maintain records of tools and equipment, issue tools to workers according to job requirements, and monitor their return, condition, and availability.
6. Stock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels, identify items running low, and prepare replenishment requests in a timely manner to prevent shortages and production delays.
7. Tools and Equipment Mapping: Map and identify the location of tools and equipment throughout the company, maintain updated location records, and ensure items can be easily located, tracked, and retrieved whenever required.
8. Job-wise Material Flow Monitoring: Monitor and document the movement of materials for different jobs, from material issue to production, work-in-progress, and final dispatch, ensuring proper tracking and accountability.
9. Daily Reporting: Submit daily reports to management covering employee-wise production, job progress, material inspection findings, material movements, stock levels, tool and equipment status, and any delays or discrepancies.
10. Issue Reporting and Escalation: Promptly inform management about material shortages, defective materials, missing tools or equipment, production delays, and any other issues affecting manufacturing operations.
