Job Description
Production Executive – Operations & Logistics | Urgent Hiring | Immediate Joining
Merchland makes custom merchandise like printed T-shirts, hoodies and branded kits for colleges, companies and creators. We need a hands-on Production Executive to take orders from purchase order to delivery. The job is split between the office and the field.
What you will do
Production and vendors
- Prepare the production sheet for every order: sizes, colours, blanks and print placement
- Coordinate with printing, fusing and blank-garment vendors, and visit their units to check progress
- Send instructions to vendors in writing on WhatsApp and follow up so deadlines are met
Quality and samples
- Check print, fabric, size, quantity and packaging before dispatch
- Make samples and small orders on the office heat press (we will train you)
Inventory and packing
- Keep stock records updated every day and match them with physical stock
- Pack e-commerce and bulk orders, and keep the stock room and packing area organised
Dispatch and delivery
- Book shipments on Porter, Uber, Rapido, Shiprocket, Delhivery and similar services
- Compare delivery costs, choose the best option, and share tracking with the team
Office work
- Update order status on our online portal every day
- Maintain order files: production sheets, QC records, vendor bills and dispatch proof
Who should apply
- 0–2 years of experience. Freshers are welcome.
- Own two-wheeler with a valid driving licence. This is a must.
- Can speak Bengali and Hindi
- Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets and WhatsApp
- Organised, responsible, and comfortable with both field and office work
- Experience in garments, printing, a warehouse or dispatch is a plus
Timings: Monday to Friday full day, Saturday half day, Sunday off
Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹12,000 per month
Location: Dum Dum, Kolkata
You will learn the whole production and logistics process of a growing merchandise brand, working directly with the founder.
