Job Title- SCM- Purchase Executive

Job Location - Millennium City IT Park in Salt Lake City Kolkata

Experience Required: 2–5 years

Working Day- 6

1.      Duties & Responsibilities

o  Manage the SCM process for brought-out parts.

o  Plan and execute purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement.

o  Possess sound knowledge of manufacturing processes, including casting and machining.

o  Prepare and analyze Zero-Based Costing (ZBC) for components.

o  Coordinate procurement of approximately 2,500 parts per month from a supplier base of 50+ vendors.

o  Convert PRs into POs within 3 days.

o  Resolve supplier quality-related issues in coordination with relevant teams.

o  Drive cost-saving initiatives through alternate sourcing and supplier development.

o  Demonstrate hands-on knowledge of CI casting and machining processes.

o  Possess strong negotiation, follow-up, and supplier management skills.

Education & Work Experience Requirements

o  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

o  Strong command of language and communication skills to manage diverse suppliers effectively.

o  Excellent negotiation, convincing, and follow-up skills.

o  Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP.

o  Strong presentation skills for preparing and presenting weekly MIS reports and updates.

o  Ability to work under deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering high-quality support.

o  Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within defined guidelines, processes, and organizational practices.
