React & Node.js Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated React & Node.js Consultant to join our development team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating, maintaining, and supporting web and mobile applications, with a strong focus on API integration and application connectivity.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience with React.js, Node.js, REST APIs, and Android Studio. Basic knowledge of C or Java is required, while experience with .NET Framework/C# will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Design, develop, consume, and integrate REST APIs and third-party APIs.
• Integrate web applications with mobile applications and backend services.
• Work with Android Studio for application development, debugging, API integration, and troubleshooting.
• Analyze existing applications and implement enhancements and new features.
• Troubleshoot application, API, integration, and performance-related issues.
• Coordinate with other developers and technical teams for application integration.
• Perform API testing and debugging using appropriate tools.
• Work with databases and understand basic data access and query concepts.
• Prepare technical documentation where required.
• Participate in application testing, deployment, and production support.
• Follow coding standards, version control practices, and development best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on knowledge of React.js.
• Good working knowledge of Node.js.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and API integration.
• Practical knowledge of JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, and API authentication.
• Working knowledge of Android Studio.
• Basic programming knowledge in Java or C.
• Understanding of frontend/backend application architecture.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand existing source code and work on enhancements.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of .NET Framework / C#.
• Experience with ASP.NET Web API.
• Experience integrating .NET APIs with React/Node.js applications.
• Knowledge of SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Experience with third-party API integrations.
• Knowledge of Git/version control.
• Experience in enterprise application integration.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant technical experience and practical development skills may also be considered.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant development experience in React.js, Node.js, API integration, or mobile/web application development.
