Civil - Design Engineer (EDRC)
Structural Analysis & Design
- Perform structural analysis and design of heavy industrial steel structures and RCC structures.
- Design structures for:
- Steel Melting Shops (SMS)
- Converter Shops
- Continuous Slab Casters
- Blast Furnaces
- Cast Houses
- Stock Houses
- Storage Bunkers & Silos
- Beneficiation Plants
- Indurating & Pelletising Buildings
- Material Handling Structures
- Transfer Towers
- Pipe Racks
- Industrial Buildings
- Chimneys and Stack Structures
- Mining and Mineral Processing Facilities
RCC & Foundation Engineering
- Design and review:
- Isolated Footings
- Combined Footings
- Raft Foundations
- Pile Foundations
- Machine Foundations
- Retaining Structures
- Underground Structures
- Water-Retaining Structures
- Equipment Foundations
Design Calculations & Engineering
- Prepare detailed design calculations, design basis reports, and engineering specifications.
- Review structural loading including:
- Dead Loads
- Live Loads
- Wind Loads
- Seismic Loads
- Equipment Loads
- Dynamic Loads
- Crane Loads
- Carry out stability checks and structural optimization.
Software & Analysis
- Perform modeling and structural analysis using software such as:
- STAAD Pro
- ETABS
- SAP2000
- Tekla Structural Designer
- ANSYS (preferred)
- Nastran (preferred)
