Store Manager

Job Summary:

Ornate Jewels is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Store Manager to manage daily showroom operations, drive sales, lead the sales team, ensure excellent customer service, and achieve monthly sales targets. The candidate should have strong leadership, jewellery sales, and team management skills.

Key Responsibilities:Sales & Target Achievement

• Achieve monthly showroom sales targets and improve overall business performance.
• Monitor daily sales, customer walk-ins, conversions, average billing, and follow-ups.
• Motivate the sales team to achieve individual and showroom targets.
• Drive sales of gold, diamond, platinum, and other jewellery collections.
• Promote company offers, schemes, as applicable.

2. Team Management

• Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team, including sales executives and customer relationship staff.
• Allocate daily responsibilities and monitor employee performance.
• Ensure proper grooming, punctuality, discipline, and professional behaviour.
• Conduct regular team briefings and product knowledge training.
• Coordinate with HR and senior management regarding attendance, performance, and training needs.

3. Customer Experience

• Ensure every customer receives a warm welcome and professional assistance.
• Handle customer complaints, objections, and escalations effectively.
• Ensure proper product presentation, transparent quotations, and timely follow-ups.
• Encourage customer feedback, testimonials, repeat purchases, and referrals.
• Maintain long-term customer relationships.

4. Showroom Operations

• Ensure daily showroom opening and closing procedures are followed.
• Monitor jewellery display, cleanliness, counter readiness, and staff grooming.
• Ensure proper handling, security, and accountability of jewellery stock.
• Coordinate with the merchandising team for correct tagging, pricing, and display.
• Ensure all sales, billing, and customer records are maintained accurately.
• Follow company SOPs, policies, and security procedures.

5. Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare and review daily sales and performance reports.
• Monitor sales team productivity, customer inquiries, and conversion rates.
• Coordinate with Accounts, HR, Marketing, CRM, Purchase, and Merchandising departments.
• Report sales performance, operational issues, and business opportunities to senior management.
