Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Tailor Master with strong expertise in men’s ethnic, formal, and occasion wear. The candidate should be skilled in stitching, alteration, fitting, finishing, and handling premium garments with high attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Stitch and finish garments according to customer measurements and requirements.
- Handle Suit, Jodhpuri, Sherwani, Indo-Western, Kurta, Kanthura, Shirt, and Pant tailoring.
- Perform accurate measurements, cutting, stitching, alteration, and fitting.
- Ensure proper shape, fitting, finishing, and overall garment quality.
- Handle customer-specific designs and customization requirements.
- Carry out alterations and corrections when required.
- Perform professional ironing and final garment finishing.
- Check garments thoroughly before delivery to the customer.
- Maintain proper quality and timely completion of assigned work.
- Handle premium fabrics and garments carefully.
- Coordinate with fashion designers, sales staff, and management regarding customer requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the tailoring/work area.
Requirements
- Previous tailoring experience is mandatory.
- Proven experience as a Tailor Master / Master Tailor.
- Strong knowledge of men’s tailoring and garment construction.
- Expertise in Suit, Jodhpuri, Sherwani, Indo-Western, Kurta, Kanthura, Shirt, and Pant.
- Excellent knowledge of measurements, cutting, fitting, and alterations.
- Good finishing and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and deliver accurate fitting.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tailoring work.
- Professional ironing and garment finishing skills are required.
- PreferredExperience in premium menswear, bridal/groom wear, or designer clothing.
- Experience handling customized and made-to-measure garments.
- Ability to complete work within committed delivery timelines.
Compensation Work-per-piece / wage-based payment, depending on the type, complexity, quality, and quantity of work completed.
