Machine Operator Apprentice

We are looking for Machine Operator Apprentices who want to learn machine work and build a career in manufacturing.

Freshers are welcome. Training will be provided.

What You Will Do:

• Work with experienced machine operators
• Load raw material into machines, including round bars, hex bars, rods and other metal material
• Handle and move raw material as required; some material can be heavy
• Learn how to operate production machines
• Check finished parts using Vernier, Micrometer and gauges
• Learn basic machine setting and adjustments
• Check parts for defects
• Maintain production records
• Keep the machine and work area clean
• Follow safety and quality instructions
• Gradually learn to run a machine independently

Physical Work Requirement: This is a hands-on factory floor job.

Candidates should be comfortable with:

• Standing for long periods during the shift
• Handling metal rods, bars and components
• Loading raw material into machines
• Moving material with proper handling methods
• Performing regular physical work as part of machine operation

Some raw material such as hex bars and round bars can be heavy, so candidates should be comfortable with this type of work.

• Cold Heading Machines
• PMT / Traub Machines
• Automatic Rolling Machines
• Manual Rolling / Grooving Machines
• Grinding Machines
• Other production machines

Preferred qualification:

• ITI – Turner
• ITI – Fitter
• ITI – Machinist
• ITI – Tool & Die
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

We are looking for candidates who:

• Want to learn machine operation
• Are regular and punctual
• Are willing to work on the factory floor
• Are comfortable with physical shop-floor work
• Have basic mechanical understanding
• Are willing to learn measurement and quality checking
• Want to build long-term technical skills

Salary: Starting Salary: ₹13,500 – ₹14,000 + ₹1000(Attendance incentive) per month

Salary growth will depend on:

• Machine skills learned
• Quality of work
• Attendance and discipline
• Ability to operate machines independently

Career Growth: Apprentice → Junior Operator → Machine Operator → Senior Operator / Machine Setter

This is not only a helper job: The role includes material loading, machine operation, quality checking and skill development.
