Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable ETP / RO / DM Water Plant Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operation, continuous monitoring, and routine maintenance of our Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Reverse Osmosis (RO) system, and Demineralisation (DM) plant. Your core objective will be to ensure uninterrupted water purification for production processes and ensure all treated wastewater meets strict environmental compliance standards.
1. Key Responsibilities
Process Control & Chemical Treatment
- Hexavalent Chromium Reduction
- Cyanide Destruction (if applicable
- Heavy Metal Precipitation
- Sludge Dewatering
Water Quality Testing & Instrumentation
- Advanced Parameter Testing
- ORP Meter Monitoring
2. Safety & Compliance
- Hazardous Chemical Handling
- Strict PPE Compliance
- Hazardous Waste Protocol
3. Experience & Qualifications
- Specific Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of direct experience operating an Electroplating / Metal Finishing / Surface Treatment ETP.
- Expert Knowledge: Solid understanding of metal precipitation chemistry, cyanide oxidation loops, and the severe health hazards associated with hexavalent chromium exposure.
