Job Description
Job Summary:
The Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practices. The role involves working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care in accordance with clinical standards and hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Assist in diagnostic tests, procedures, and treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and post-treatment care.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate nursing care.
- Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Support new staff and nursing students through training and mentorship.
