Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Processing: Greet guests, take accurate dine-in or takeout orders, and enter items into the POS system.
  • Payment Handling: Accept cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments, issue receipts, and give exact change.
  • Drawer Management: Count the cash drawer at the start and end of shifts and reconcile sales totals.
  • Customer Service: Answer menu and pricing questions, resolve basic complaints, and assist service or kitchen teams when needed. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]



Requirements and Skills


Math and Detail: Basic arithmetic skills and strong accuracy with cash handling.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) software.

Communication: Friendly, polite demeanor with clear verbal skills under pressure.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
