Site Civil Engineer

Required Candidate Profile – Site/Construction Engineer: A physically and mentally fit, proactive, and responsible candidate is required who is willing to take full ownership of site execution and construction-related responsibilities for CMGRID projects. The candidate should have sound technical knowledge and practical field experience in the following areas:

• Execution and supervision of all civil construction activities associated with CMGRID projects, including planning, coordination, quality control, and day-to-day site management.
• Proven experience in the construction and management of underground utility infrastructure, including sewerage, storm-water drainage, OFC, water supply lines, utility ducts, drains, chambers/manholes, and associated structures.
• Ability to identify and effectively resolve site-level technical challenges, utility conflicts, alignment issues, existing-service obstructions, and construction constraints associated with underground utilities.
• Strong knowledge of finishing and reinstatement works related to pathway/road construction, including surface preparation, levels, slopes, drainage interfaces, and restoration of disturbed surfaces.
• Hands-on experience in the construction of both flexible and rigid pavements, including relevant subgrade, sub-base/base-course and pavement-layer execution activities.
• Capability to independently manage site teams, subcontractors, resources, work fronts, and coordination with departmental officials and utility agencies.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, BOQ, specifications, method statements, quality requirements, and measurement/quantity documentation.
• Willingness to work at project sites and effectively manage field conditions, construction challenges, and time-bound project deliverables.
