We work with businesses across sectors, assisting them with complex legal matters, commercial transactions, risk management and strategic legal requirements.

We are looking for a motivated and commercially oriented lawyer to join our Ludhiana office and contribute to the firm's legal assignments, client servicing and practice development.

Key Responsibilities1. Corporate and Commercial Advisory

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including service agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, consultancy agreements, lease deeds and other business contracts.
• Assist with corporate advisory, company law matters and legal structuring.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions, advisory notes and client memoranda.

2. Legal Due Diligence and Transactions

• Conduct legal due diligence for corporate transactions, acquisitions, investments and business transfers.
• Review property title documents, land records, conveyance deeds, lease deeds and related documentation.
• Identify legal risks, prepare due diligence reports and suggest risk mitigation measures.
• Assist in mergers and acquisitions, business restructuring and other transactional assignments.

3. Litigation and Dispute Resolution

• Assist in drafting legal notices, replies, pleadings, written statements, applications and other legal documents.
• Handle civil, commercial and contractual disputes before courts, tribunals and other relevant forums, as assigned.
• Coordinate with clients, local counsel and other stakeholders for litigation management and case updates.
• Support recovery matters, arbitration and pre-litigation dispute resolution.

4. Client Management and Execution

• Coordinate directly with clients to understand legal requirements and provide timely updates.
• Manage assigned matters, maintain documentation and ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Prepare status reports, maintain matter trackers and support efficient execution of client assignments.
• Work collaboratively with the firm's partners and other team members.
• Eligibility and QualificationsLL.B. degree from a recognised university.
• Enrolment with the Bar Council of the relevant State.
• Experience: 1–5 years of relevant legal experience preferred. Freshers with strong drafting and research skills may also be considered.
• Strong legal drafting, research, analytical and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Indian corporate and commercial laws, contract law and civil procedure.
• Familiarity with court procedures and legal documentation in Punjab will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in English, Hindi and Punjabi is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments independently and work within defined timelines.

• Has a practical understanding of how businesses operate and approaches legal issues commercially.
• Demonstrates ownership, accountability and attention to detail.
• Can independently prepare quality first drafts of contracts, legal notices, opinions and other legal documents.
• Is comfortable interacting with corporate clients and coordinating with courts, government departments and external counsel.
• Is keen to develop expertise in corporate law, transactions and dispute resolution.

CompensationSalary will be commensurate with experience, legal skills and suitability for the role.
