Job Description

Field sales executive is responsible for sourcing and generating loan business by directly engaging with customers in the field. The role focuses on selling financial products such as personal loans, home loans, business loans, and unsecured overdrafts by understanding customer needs and offering suitable financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and approach potential customers through field visits, referrals, and networking

• Promote and sell loan products (personal loans, home loans, business loans, unsecured overdrafts)

• Generate leads through cold calling, market visits, and local area activities

• Explain product features, eligibility criteria, interest rates, and repayment terms

• Educate customers about unsecured overdraft facilities and their benefits

• Collect and verify customer documents for loan processing

• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth approval and disbursement

• Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships for repeat business and referrals

• Ensure compliance with bank policies, KYC norms, and regulatory guidelines

• Maintain daily sales reports and activity tracking

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate in any discipline (mandatory)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, NBFC, or financial sales (loan products preferred)

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Strong sales and closing ability

• Customer-focused approach

• Good understanding of loan products and unsecured lending

• Ability to work independently in a field sales role

• Strong networking and relationship management skills

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Monthly loan and overdraft disbursement value

• Number of quality leads generated

• Conversion ratio

• Target achievement percentage
