Job Title: Housekeeping Incharge / Executive HousekeeperCompany: Hotel The Taksonz, Ludhiana

The Objective We are seeking an uncompromising Housekeeping Incharge to take absolute ownership of our property’s hygiene, aesthetics, and room readiness. This is not a passive role. You will aggressively manage a team of room attendants, tightly control chemical and linen inventories, and ensure that every inch of the property meets premium hospitality standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence: Conduct rigorous daily inspections of all guest rooms, VIP suites, corridors, and public areas. Authorize room readiness for the Front Desk with zero tolerance for oversights.
• Inventory & Cost Control: Manage the procurement, storage, and daily distribution of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and linens. Track usage meticulously to eliminate theft, wastage, and unnecessary overhead costs.
• Staff Leadership & Roster Management: Schedule, train, and discipline the housekeeping staff. Drive peak productivity, ensuring rooms are turned over rapidly during peak check-in/check-out windows without compromising quality.
• Preventative Maintenance: Act as the first line of defense for the property. Instantly identify and report electrical, plumbing, or furniture defects to the maintenance department before a guest ever notices them.
• Vendor Coordination: Oversee external contracts for pest control, deep carpet cleaning, and outsourced laundry services, ensuring they meet the hotel's SLA (Service Level Agreement) requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 4–5 years of supervisory experience in the housekeeping department of a reputed, high-volume hotel.
• A degree or diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality Administration.
• Fierce attention to detail and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Strong knowledge of industry-standard cleaning chemicals, sanitation protocols, and fabric care.
• Proven ability to manage labor schedules and motivate a blue-collar workforce effectively.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) You Will Be Judged On:

1. Guest satisfaction scores regarding room cleanliness.
2. Average turnaround time for room cleaning.
3. Reduction in chemical wastage and linen damage.
