Pet Groomer

Job Summary:-

Pet Pro is looking for a skilled and responsible Pet Groomer to provide professional grooming and hygiene care to pets while ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall grooming experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pet Grooming

• Perform bathing, drying, brushing, combing, trimming, and haircutting as per the pet’s breed and grooming needs.
• Carry out basic nail, ear, and paw-pad grooming safely.
• Use appropriate grooming techniques for different breeds and sizes of pets.

2. Safe Pet Handling

• Handle pets calmly, patiently, and safely during grooming.
• Use appropriate handling and restraint techniques to ensure pet safety and comfort.
• Observe pets for signs of stress, discomfort, injury, or unusual conditions and report concerns promptly.

3. Grooming Equipment & Hygiene

• Use grooming tools and equipment safely and correctly.
• Clean and disinfect grooming tools and equipment after use.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organised grooming area.

4. Pet Comfort & Service Quality

• Ensure pets are comfortable and treated with care throughout the grooming session.
• Provide grooming services according to the pet owner’s requirements and Pet Pro’s service standards.
• Maintain a professional and caring approach with pets and their owners.

5. Records & Reporting

• Follow the grooming schedule and complete assigned services on time.
• Maintain required grooming records.
• Report any grooming-related incident, injury, or health concern to the concerned supervisor.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Pet Groomer or in a similar role preferred.
• Formal training or certification in Pet Grooming.
• Experience in bathing, drying, brushing, trimming, haircutting, nail trimming, and ear care.
• Good understanding of pet hygiene, grooming standards, and safe handling practices.
