Job Description
D M Impex (Ludhiana, since 1993) is hiring a Sales & Application Engineer for TorCut, our brand of carbide inserts, endmills and cutting tools.
This is a field job. You will visit factories, machine shops and dealers to run insert trials and get product approvals.
Responsibilities:
- Visit CNC / VMC machine shops, OEMs and tool dealers to generate enquiries and close orders
- Conduct tool trials on customer machines and recommend the right insert, grade and cutting parameters
- Get product approvals and convert trials into regular orders
- Solve tool failure problems and guide machine operators
- Prepare trial reports and follow up with customers
Requirements:
- Graduate / Engineer (Mechanical or Production preferred)
- 2 to 3 years of experience in cutting tools / carbide inserts sales or application
- Candidates from the cutting tools line will be preferred
- Good knowledge of CNC turning, VMC and cutting tools
- Ready for daily field travel
Timing: 9:30 AM to 7:30 PM
Salary: Rs. 17,000 to 23,000 fixed (based on experience) + incentives of Rs. 5,000 to 7,000 per month
