*Job Summary:*
We are hiring an energetic Area Sales Officer to drive sales in the assigned area. The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets through dealers / distributors / retailers and building strong customer relationships.
*Key Responsibilities:*
*1. Sales Target Achievement*
- Achieve assigned monthly sales targets (Primary & Secondary sales).
- Ensure daily order booking and timely delivery.
- Focus on volume, value, and product mix as per company goals.
*2. Market Coverage & Beat Planning*
- Daily market visits as per beat plan to retailers / dealers / distributors.
- Ensure product availability, visibility, and freshness in the market.
- Identify and onboard new retailers / dealers to expand market reach.
*3. Distributor & Channel Management*
- Manage distributors, handle stock, claims, and payment collections.
- Ensure proper service to retail outlets and maintain healthy distributor ROI.
- Monitor competitor activities and schemes in the market.
*4. Merchandising & Promotion*
- Execute company promotional schemes, offers, and new product launches.
- Ensure proper display, POSM, and visibility at retail points.
- Collect market feedback and share with management.
*5. Reporting & Documentation*
- Daily reporting of sales, market visits, and collection in SFA App / CRM.
- Maintain records of orders, payments, and competitor information.
- Attend weekly / monthly sales meetings.
*Skills Required:
- Good communication & negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and target-oriented
- Knowledge of local market and language is a must
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and mobile apps (SFA/CRM)
- Must have a two-wheeler with a valid driving license
- Willing to travel extensively in the assigned territory
*Eligibility:
- Any Graduate (BBA /B.Com / BA preferred)
- 5-6 years of experience in FMCG / Telecom / Paint / Electrical / Pharma / Building Material sales
- Freshers with good communication can also be considered for Trainee roles
*Salary & Benefits:*
- CTC: [2.5 LPA to 3 LPA] + Incentives
