Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
• Daily Operations: Oversee the end-to-end production of the 20 KLPD plant, ensuring optimum transesterification conversion, methanol recovery efficiency, and minimization of process downtime.
• Feedstock Management: Manage daily testing, storage, and processing of varying feedstocks (UCO, acid oils, or non-edible oils) and ensure proper separation and storage of byproducts like crude glycerin.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict hazardous zone protocols (PESO standards for methanol storage). Maintain zero-discharge parameters per State Pollution Control Board norms.
• Team Leadership: Manage a local team of 15–20 personnel, including plant operators, lab technicians, maintenance staff, and security.
• Supply Chain Support: Coordinate daily dispatch of finished biodiesel meeting IS 15607 standards.
Key Technical Competencies Required:
• Hands-on experience with boilers, centrifuges, distillation columns, and PLC/SCADA automation systems.
• Strong understanding of mass balance, utility consumption optimization (power, steam, water), and preventive maintenance schedules.
