Barista

The Artist Cafe, is a modern Indian Donut & Coffee brand owned and operated by The Passion Pursuit Group. We combine traditional & modern artisanal Greek donuts and coffee ethos with the knowledge, sourcing and craftsmanship of various suppliers.

Barista - The Role

We are looking for a Barista to join our team of passionate baristas and have the ability to be part of a team that champions memorable customer experiences. . The right person will have extensive experience and a strong passion for specialty coffee, with an advanced barista background and leadership skills. This is an exciting opportunity to join us and play a key role in the first of its kind concept cafe in India.

Barista Responsibilities:

•Educate customers about our donut offerings and coffee culture.

•Selling coffee and coffee grinding and brewing equipment; preparing and serving a quality coffee beverage, introducing seasonal beverages along with food offerings.

•Welcome customers by assessing their coffee & food interests and needs.

•Prepare beverages & food by adhering to the defined recipes

•Helps in generating revenue through driving suggestive selling based on customer’s preferences.

•Maintains stock on display, FDU & other display units through timely replenishment.

•Follow SOPs while handling equipment.

•Maintains secured, safe, clean and healthy workplace by following SOP's.

•Takes feedback from the customers about product & place; responds appropriately & if required than convey it to the SLT.

•Takes ownership of self-development & learning, shares skill & knowledge with fellow team members.

About You:

You’ll be perfect for this role if you have:

• A passion for specialty coffee and hospitality.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Excellent customer service and advanced barista skills.
• A passion for creating exceptional customer experiences.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• A strong work ethic and the ability to meet and exceed KPIs.
• Experience managing systems and software related to cafe operations.
• Hospitality certification (Is preferred or desirable but not mandatory)
