Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and responsible Site Engineer to manage day-to-day site operations. You will be responsible for execution, supervision, and quality control of civil works to ensure timely completion as per drawings and specifications.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Supervision

• Take full responsibility for site execution - marking, layout, leveling, and alignment • Supervise all civil activities: excavation, PCC, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, block work, plastering, flooring & finishing • Ensure work is done as per approved drawings and method statements • Check and maintain levels, line and plumb 

2. Planning & Coordination

• Daily planning of manpower, material, and machinery requirement • Coordinate with contractors, masons, carpenters, bar benders, and labour teams • Coordinate with Project Manager, QA/QC, Safety, and Store departments • Inform material requirement in advance to avoid delays 

3. Quality Control

• Check quality of incoming materials - cement, steel, sand, aggregate, blocks, concrete • Conduct / witness cube tests, slump tests, and other quality tests • Ensure proper curing, cover blocks, and concrete compaction • Rectify defects and ensure snag-free handover 

4. Measurement, Billing & Documentation

• Take joint measurements with contractors and prepare measurement sheets • Prepare daily progress report (DPR), labour report, material consumption report • Prepare BBS, BOQ and assist in contractor bill verification • Maintain site files, drawings, checklists, and hindrance register 

5. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all work follows safety norms and use of PPE at site • Follow IS codes, building bye-laws and standard construction practices Required Skills & Competencies • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and basic quantity surveying • Good understanding of RCC drawings, finishing drawings, and structural details • Knowledge of surveying instruments - Auto Level, Total Station • Excellent site management, leadership and communication skills • Ability to handle labour and solve site problems quickly Eligibility • Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering • 1-5 years of site experience in building construction / residential / commercial / industrial projects • Must be willing to stay at site and work extended hours if required
