*Job Overview*

We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and safety-conscious Driver to join event management company. You will be responsible for transporting goods safely, efficiently, and on schedule across designated local or long-distance routes. The ideal candidate possesses a clean driving record, sound knowledge of vehicle maintenance, and a strong commitment to road safety.

*Key Responsibilities & Duties*

 * Safe Transportation: Transport goods and cargo to designated destinations safely and timely, avoiding damage, theft, or unnecessary delays.

 * Route Planning & Navigation: Plan efficient delivery routes by checking traffic updates, road conditions, weather patterns, and delivery windows.

 * Vehicle Inspection: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck (checking tires, brakes, fluid levels, lights, and dashboard indicators).

 * Cargo Handling & Security: Supervise or assist with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure fastening to prevent transit damage.

 * Documentation & Paperwork: 

Maintain accurate logs, obtain delivery receipts/signatures, manage toll and fuel receipts, and submit expense or mileage reports.

 * Compliance: Strictly adhere to local traffic laws, national highway regulations, and company safety protocols at all times.

 * Basic Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Handle minor mechanical upkeep, report major technical faults immediately, and manage routine fueling.

 * Customer Service: Maintain a professional, courteous, and polite demeanor when interacting with warehouse staff, clients, and vendors at pickup and delivery points.

*Requirements & Qualifications*

 * License: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or heavy motor vehicle (HMV) driving license with appropriate endorsements.

 * Experience: Proven professional experience as a truck driver (minimum of [1-3] years preferred).

 * Driving Record: Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or history of reckless driving.

 * Knowledge: Sound understanding of truck mechanics, regional geography, and national transport rules.

 * Physical Fitness: Physically fit with the stamina to endure long hours behind the wheel, handle occasional heavy lifting, and manage demanding travel schedules.
