Gelato & Sundae Specialist

We are looking for a Gelato & Sundae Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about desserts, have good attention to detail, and be confident in scooping and presenting gelato beautifully.

Key Responsibilities

* Scoop and serve gelato accurately and consistently.

* Prepare sundaes, dessert cups, and other gelato-based creations as per our recipes and presentation standards.

* Handle toppings, sauces, nuts, fruits, and other ingredients carefully.

* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at the gelato counter and work area.

* Interact with customers, understand their preferences, and assist them with flavour recommendations.

* Ensure every order is presented neatly and consistently.

* Maintain proper storage and handling of gelato and ingredients.

* Monitor ingredient levels and inform the team when replenishment is required.

* Assist with daily opening, closing, and cleaning activities.

* Work efficiently during busy hours while maintaining quality and customer service.

Skills & Requirements

* Previous experience in a gelato, ice cream, café, bakery, or dessert shop is preferred.

* Good scooping and portion-control skills.

* Ability to prepare and present sundaes neatly.

* Good communication and customer-service skills.

* Clean, well-groomed, and hygiene-conscious.

* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Experience with dessert presentation will be an added advantage.
