Shift Manager – Roles & ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day café operations during the assigned shift:

• Lead, deploy and support the café team to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure product quality, service standards and customer experience.
• Monitor sales, productivity, inventory and wastage.
• Ensure hygiene, grooming, safety and SOP compliance.
• Handle customer concerns and resolve operational issues.
• Manage cash/POS and complete shift reconciliation.
• Conduct shift briefings and ensure proper handover.
• Coach team members and support on-the-job training.
• Escalate critical people, operational and maintenance issues to the Store Manager.

Functional:-

• Elevates coffee culture by educating customers; selling coffee and coffee grinding and brewing equipment; preparing and serving a quality coffee beverage, introducing seasonal beverages along with food offerings.

• Welcome customers by assessing their coffee interests and needs.

• Invite customers for tastings of manual brew & for sampling of food

• Prepare beverages & food by adhering to the defined recipes

• Helps in generating revenue through driving suggestive selling based on customer’s preferences.

• Maintains stock on merch rack, FDU & other display units through timely replenishment.

• Follow SOPs while handling equipment; adheres to PM schedule & call for timely repairs
