Engineering Research Writer

Key Responsibilities

• Write and edit engineering research papers, technical reports, thesis/dissertation chapters, literature reviews, and research documentation.
• Support research-oriented projects for PhD scholars, M.Tech, and other postgraduate researchers.
• Understand technical research problems and convert complex concepts into structured academic content.
• Conduct technical literature reviews using credible journals, conference papers, and academic databases.
• Assist with research methodology, algorithm explanations, experimental analysis, results interpretation, and technical documentation.
• Properly structure research papers according to academic and journal requirements.
• Maintain proper citations, references, originality, and academic integrity.

COMMON REQUIREMENTS

• Strong knowledge of research paper and thesis/dissertation writing.
• Excellent written English, grammar, and academic writing skills.
• Strong understanding of research methodology and literature review techniques.
• Ability to search, evaluate, and cite credible academic sources.
• Knowledge of plagiarism prevention and ethical use of sources.
• Ability to understand and implement reviewer/supervisor feedback.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple research assignments and meet deadlines.
• Prior experience in academic research writing or research assistance is preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• For Engineering Writer: B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, M.Sc, PhD, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or a related engineering discipline.
