Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Accountant who can take ownership of daily financial operations while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and process discipline across billing, taxation, and inventory.

This role goes beyond routine accounting — it requires someone who understands business flow, documentation, and financial control.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely updates
• Handle TDS compliance including calculation, deduction, and filing
• Manage non-GST returns and related statutory requirements
• Perform periodic bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Oversee billing, invoicing, and receivables tracking
• Prepare and manage delivery challans and documentation flow
• Maintain and reconcile inventory/stock records in coordination with operations
• Ensure proper documentation for purchases, sales, and logistics
• Support internal audits and financial reporting
• Identify gaps and improve accounting and control processes

Ideal Candidate Profile

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification
• Hands-on experience in accounting roles
• Strong working knowledge of TDS, compliance, and accounting fundamentals
• Experience in billing, inventory management, and reconciliation processes
• Proficiency in Busy accounting software + MS Excel
• High attention to detail and ownership mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing business environment
