Job Description
CCTV TechnicianLocation: Mohali / Chandigarh / Tricity
Employment Type: Full-Time
- Job ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR, and surveillance systems.
- Perform IP camera and analog camera installation.
- Configure DVR/NVR, HDD, networking, PoE switches, routers, and remote viewing.
- Troubleshoot camera, cable, power, networking, and recording-related issues.
- Configure CCTV systems on mobile phones and computers for remote monitoring.
- Carry out regular maintenance and servicing of CCTV installations.
- Handle CAT6/coaxial cable laying, termination, testing, and fault finding.
- Visit customer sites for installation, repair, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain proper installation standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Requirements1–3 years of experience in CCTV installation and servicing preferred.
- Knowledge of Hikvision, CP Plus, Dahua, or similar CCTV systems.
- Basic knowledge of networking, IP addresses, routers, switches, and PoE.
- Ability to use basic tools such as crimping tools, tester, drill machine, multimeter, etc.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
- Good communication and professional behaviour.
Salary₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
Experienced candidates with strong technical knowledge can be offered higher salary.
