Next Chapter House (NCH) is a premium community living brand by Meridian Living, offering a comfortable, community-driven living experience for students and young professionals. We are looking for a dedicated Cook who is passionate about preparing hygienic, nutritious, and delicious meals for our residents.

• Key ResponsibilitiesFood PreparationPrepare breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner as per the daily menu.
• Ensure food is cooked on time while maintaining consistent taste and quality.
• Follow standard recipes and portion sizes.
• Kitchen OperationsMaintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
• Ensure proper storage of vegetables, groceries, dairy products, and other ingredients.
• Monitor kitchen inventory and inform management about stock requirements.
• Minimize food wastage and maintain cost efficiency.
• Hygiene & SafetyFollow all food safety and hygiene standards.
• Keep kitchen equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Maintain personal hygiene while preparing and serving food.
• Team CoordinationCoordinate with housekeeping and the Property Manager for smooth kitchen operations.
• Assist in planning weekly menus based on resident preferences.
• Support special meal arrangements when required.
• RequirementsPrior experience as a Cook in a hostel, PG, hotel, restaurant, mess, or similar establishment.
• Ability to prepare hygienic and tasty North Indian meals (knowledge of South Indian meals is an added advantage).
• Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Honest, disciplined, punctual, and hardworking.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹18,000 per month (based on experience)
