Job Description
- Portfolio Management: Identify, track, and monitor assigned past-due accounts and Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) using accounting databases.
- Debtor Communication: Initiate direct contact with individuals or corporate debtors via phone, email, mail, or physical field visits to establish payment intent.
- Negotiation & Settlement: Evaluate debtors’ financial situations and negotiate fair repayment plans, settlements, or loan restructures while adhering to company bounds.
- Skip Tracing & Investigation: Research databases, public registries, and alternative resources to locate "absconded" or untraceable borrowers who have changed contact details.
- Legal & Compliance Escalation: Issue formal reminder letters or demand notices. If negotiations fail, coordinate with internal legal teams or third-party auctioneers to initiate asset repossession or court proceedings.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain flawless electronic trails of all customer communications, physical visit summaries, and payment agreements. Generate monthly Management Information System (MIS) collection reports.
