JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

Designation: Packing Boy

Department: Packing & Warehouse Operations

Reporting To: Packing Supervisor / Operations Executive

Location: Warehouse

1. Packing & Product Handling

• Pack fresh vegetables, exotic vegetables, herbs and leafy greens.
• Follow the given packing instructions for each product.
• Maintain correct weight and quantity while packing.
• Use proper packaging material as instructed.
• Ensure products are packed neatly and safely.

2. Quality Checking

• Check products for freshness and quality before packing.
• Remove damaged, rotten or poor-quality products.
• Maintain proper hygiene while handling fresh produce.
• Ensure products are clean and suitable for dispatch.

3. Order-wise Packing

• Pack products according to customer and marketplace orders.
• Follow the SKU, quantity and packaging requirements.
• Keep different customer orders properly separated.
• Avoid quantity mismatch and wrong product packing.

4. Warehouse Support

• Assist in sorting, grading and cleaning vegetables.
• Help in loading and unloading goods when required.
• Maintain cleanliness in the packing area.
• Arrange products and packaging materials properly.

5. Discipline & Attendance

• Report to duty on time.
• Follow instructions given by the supervisor.
• Maintain discipline and teamwork.
• Avoid unnecessary wastage of products and packaging materials.

6. Accountability

• Be responsible for packing accuracy.
• Report damaged products to the supervisor.
• Inform the supervisor about shortages of packing materials.
• Complete assigned packing work within the given time.
• Follow company rules and operational procedures.

7. Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

• Packing accuracy.
• Daily packing productivity.
• Product handling and quality.
• Minimum product wastage.
• Timely completion of orders.
• Workplace cleanliness and discipline.

Final Responsibility:

To ensure that all fresh produce is properly checked, handled, packed and prepared for dispatch according to company quality standards and customer requirements.
