Job Description
Commis 1 - Tandoor | Nineteenth May, Sector 67 Mohali
Nineteenth May is a premium resto-bar, catering and events brand in Mohali, running since 2019. We need a Commis 1 for our Tandoor section (restaurant + corporate catering).
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare tandoori breads (naan, kulcha, roti, lachha paratha) and tandoori starters (tikka, kebabs, paneer) as per standard recipes
- Marination, skewering and mise-en-place for service and catering orders
- Maintain tandoor heat, consistency, portion and presentation
- Follow FIFO, labelling, hygiene and FSSAI norms; keep the section clean
- Support the CDP in bulk catering production
Who we want:
- 2+ years on tandoor in a restaurant, hotel or catering kitchen
- Fast, clean and disciplined; able to handle rush hours
What we offer:
- Salary Rs 20,000 - 22,000 per month
- Duty meals, 1 weekly off
