Accountant

Position OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounting Professional to manage end-to-end accounting operations, direct & indirect tax compliance, and periodic financial book closure. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Tally and have practical experience handling GST, TDS, and daily tally entries.

• Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & Accounting:
• 
  
• Maintain day-to-day accounts in Tally (vouchers, sales, purchases, bank receipts, and payments).
• Perform regular bank reconciliations (BRS) and ledger scrutinies.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual books closing procedures.
• Taxation & Compliance:
• 
  
• GST Compliance: Prepare and reconcile data for GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B matching). Ensure timely filing and payment of GST liabilities.
• TDS Compliance: Compute monthly TDS, prepare payment challans, and assist in compiling data for quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q / 26Q).
• Maintain tax registers, statutory audit files, and support documentation for tax assessments.
• Reporting & Audits:

• Prepare trial balance, profit & loss accounts, and balance sheet schedules during period closing.
• Coordinate with internal team members and auditors during audit assignments.
• Required Qualifications & SkillsEducation: B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in core accounting and tax compliance.
• Technical Skills:

• Strong working proficiency in Tally (Prime / ERP 9).
• Hands-on knowledge of GST filing portals, TDS calculations, and reconciliation processes.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
