Job Title: Accounts Executive (TALLY, GST Expert)

Location: Marine Lines, Mumbai (No Work from Home)

Job Type: Full-time | 9.30 am to 6.30 pm | Monday to Saturday

Salary: 20 to 30k per month

Experience: 1-3 years

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Executive to manage our day-to-day accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in TALLY accounting software, a thorough understanding of GST (Goods and Services Tax), and strong knowledge of Indian accounting principles. The candidate will be responsible for handling accounting transactions, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Bookkeeping:

·        Maintain accurate financial records and perform accounting functions using TALLY ERP.

·        Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchase, payments, receipts, and journal entries.

·        Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of accounts.

GST Compliance:

·        Calculate and maintain proper records for GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).

·        Ensure compliance with GST laws and filing deadlines.

·        Prepare and submit GST returns, ensuring proper input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation and GST payments.

·        Address any GST-related queries from the tax department or internal stakeholders.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance:

·        Assist with preparation and filing of Income Tax returns, TDS, and other statutory requirements.

·        Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and other financial regulations.

Ledger Maintenance & Reporting:

·        Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

·        Prepare trial balance, profit & loss account, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.

·        Assist with audits, internal controls, and periodic financial reporting.

Payments & Receivables:

·        Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.

·        Ensure proper documentation for vendor and client transactions.

Other Duties:

·        Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

·        Respond to internal and external queries regarding financial transactions.

·        Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
