Civil Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Home Inspection

• Conduct detailed property inspections for apartments, villas, and commercial units.
• Inspect structural elements, flooring, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, waterproofing, plumbing, electrical systems, and finishing works.
• Identify construction defects, workmanship issues, and maintenance concerns.
• Capture photographs and document findings during inspections.
• Prepare professional inspection reports using company software and mobile applications.
• Explain inspection findings and recommendations to clients when required.

Water Leakage Inspection

• Perform water seepage and leakage inspections using thermal imaging cameras and other diagnostic tools.
• Identify sources of dampness, seepage, leakage, and waterproofing failures.
• Conduct moisture assessments and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with clients and maintenance teams during inspections.
• Prepare detailed water leakage assessment reports.

General Responsibilities

• Maintain inspection quality standards and company protocols.
• Travel to inspection sites across Mumbai and nearby locations.
• Ensure accurate measurements and documentation.
• Support business development activities when required.
• Assist in developing inspection checklists and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 1–5 years of experience in construction, quality control, site supervision, waterproofing, or inspection services.
• Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply.
• Knowledge of construction methods, waterproofing systems, and building materials.
• Ability to read construction drawings and layouts.
• Good communication and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and mobile applications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in home inspections or snagging inspections.
• Knowledge of waterproofing and leakage diagnosis.
• Experience using thermal cameras or inspection equipment.
• Customer-facing experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Compensation

• Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience)
