Cutting/ Pattern/ Draping Master - Womenswear

For Ladies Indo-western garments and sarees:

• Developing and creating accurate garment patterns based on design concepts/ specifications, sketches, samples, customer measurements, etc.
• Adjusting patterns for size variations, ensuring consistency across all sizes. 
• Cutting fabrics as per designs, patterns, customer measurements, etc.
• Developing draping designs as per designer specifications 
• Calculating fabric consumptions, optimizing fabric usage and minimizing waste
• Making necessary modifications to patterns, garments or drapes to ensure proper fit and style basis customer fitting, or feedback
• Ensuring effective planning/ management, utilization, productivity and quality of stitching department
• Providing support and guidance to stitching team, to ensure quality and timely production, as well as their capability enhancement
• Collaborating closely with other team members (designer, production merchandiser, embroidery teams, quality team, etc.) to achieve the desired output
• Participating in production planning and review meetings
• Supporting/ enabling hiring of stitching/ other team members in line with organization requirements
• Staying updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques to enhance production processes

Experience with high-quality production or leading fashion designers is preferred
