Job Title: Home Visit Dental Assistant

Job Summary

A Home Visit Dental Assistant supports dentists in delivering high-quality dental care at patients’ homes by assisting during procedures, preparing and carrying dental instruments and materials, maintaining infection control, and ensuring a smooth and comfortable patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Accompany the dentist during scheduled home visits.
• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures conducted at the patient's home.
• Prepare and organize dental instruments, equipment, and consumables required for each visit.
• Ensure all instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and packed as per infection control protocols.
• Set up and dismantle the treatment area at the patient's home.
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout the visit.
• Assist the dentist with instruments and materials during procedures.
• Handle and transport dental equipment and consumables safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the treatment area during and after the procedure.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and clinical protocols.
• Maintain adequate stock of dental supplies and inform the concerned team about shortages.
• Maintain required patient and visit-related records.
• Provide basic post-treatment support to patients as instructed by the dentist.
• Coordinate with the dentist and operations team regarding home visit schedules and requirements.
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with patients and their family members.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Experience

• 0–2 years of experience; freshers may be considered.
• Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is an advantage.
• Candidates with healthcare or patient-care experience may also be considered.
