English Speaking Nanny For A 4-Year-Old Boy

Hiring for a family in Andheri East looking for a caring, patient and energetic nanny for our 4-year-old son. The focus of this role is his overall development, through engaging play, reading and attentive day-to-day care.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and lead daily playtime, including creative play, puzzles, drawing, blocks and outdoor activities, to support his learning and growth
• Read stories aloud daily in English and encourage his curiosity, vocabulary and love of books
• Talk and interact with him in English to support his language development
• Look after his everyday needs: meals and snacks, water, toilet and hygiene, dressing and rest time
• Keep him safe and supervised at all times, indoors and outdoors
• Maintain his play area, toys and belongings neat and clean
• Keep the parents updated on his day, mood, meals and any concerns

Requirements

• Able to read and speak English comfortably, as storytelling and conversation are a core part of the role
• Prior experience caring for young children is preferred, but a genuinely warm and willing candidate will be considered
• Patient, gentle, attentive and dependable, with a positive attitude
• Comfortable with a structured daily routine
• Must live in or around Andheri East. Candidates from other areas will not be considered.
• Willing to follow the parents’ guidance on routines and discipline
• Good personal hygiene and a clean, safe approach to childcare

Good to Have

• Basic first-aid awareness
• Experience with early-learning activities such as rhymes, art and craft, and counting games
