Job Description

  • Key skills to look forBasic fashion designing knowledge
  • Fabric knowledge — especially nylon, polyester, spandex/Lycra and performance fabrics
  • Garment construction basics — seams, stitching, measurements, finishing
  • Pattern-making basics
  • Basic knowledge of activewear/fitness wear
  • Sampling & product development — assisting with samples and correcting fits
  • Tech-pack understanding is a bonus
  • Fashion research & trend research
  • Basic Canva / Photoshop / Illustrator skills
  • Good communication and coordination with tailors, vendors and manufacturers
  • Attention to detail — measurements, fitting, stitching, fabric quality
  • Creativity and strong sense of aesthetics
  • Willingness to visit factories/vendors when required
