Job Description – Graphic Designer Department: Design / Pre-Press

Role: We are looking for a skilled Graphic Designer with knowledge and practical experience in offset printing and packaging. The candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying and preparing artwork and keylines for paper bags, mono cartons, boxes and other printed products.

• Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and adapt artwork according to customer and production requirements.
• Prepare print-ready files and ensure artwork is technically suitable for production.
• Work with dielines, bleed, cutting, creasing, folding and pasting requirements.
• Check colours, fonts, images, dimensions and other artwork specifications before production.
• Make revisions and coordinate with the Sales, Production and Pre-Press teams.
• Maintain organised files of approved artwork and revisions.
• Skills & ExperienceProficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign; knowledge of CorelDRAW will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of CMYK, Pantone/spot colours, bleed, trapping, overprinting and print-ready PDFs.
• Practical knowledge of offset printing, pre-press and packaging production is essential.
• Ability to understand packaging dielines and identify potential production issues.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills and ability to work to deadlines.

Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in a printing press, packaging company or pre-press department.
