Helper

Job Purpose

The Helper supports trained employees in any assigned department by performing basic assistance, material-handling, preparation, cleaning and housekeeping tasks under direct supervision. The role helps maintain safe, orderly and timely work without independently performing skilled, inspection, release or approval activities.

Key Responsibilities·

• Assist trained employees with basic tasks as instructed and remain within the assigned scope of work.
• ·       Move, arrange, count, label, pack or unpack materials, tools, components and documents using safe handling methods.
• ·       Prepare the work area, materials and basic tools before work and return them to the designated location afterward.
• ·       Maintain housekeeping, cleanliness, waste segregation and 5S requirements in the assigned area.
• ·       Use required personal protective equipment and follow safety, quality, security and environmental instructions.
• ·       Protect materials and completed work from damage, contamination, loss or mix-up and preserve identification and traceability.
• ·       Immediately report hazards, defects, shortages, damage, incorrect material, equipment problems or unclear instructions.
• ·       Attend assigned training and demonstrate competence before using any tool, equipment or machine.
