Home Collection Phlebotomist

We are looking for a skilled and patient-focused Home Collection Phlebotomist to visit patients at their homes and collect blood and other diagnostic samples safely and accurately. The candidate will be responsible for sample collection, proper labeling, handling, documentation, and timely transportation of samples to the designated laboratory/collection center.

• Key ResponsibilitiesVisit patients at their homes as per assigned schedules.
• Perform blood and other diagnostic sample collections professionally and safely.
• Verify patient details and ensure correct sample identification.
• Follow proper phlebotomy procedures and maintain hygiene and safety standards.
• Properly label, pack, store, and transport collected samples as per laboratory guidelines.
• Ensure samples reach the designated collection center/laboratory within the required TAT.
• Handle difficult or special sample collection cases professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of all home collection visits and samples collected.
• Update collection status through the designated mobile application/system.
• Coordinate with the operations team regarding appointments, delays, cancellations, and rescheduling.
• Communicate politely with patients and explain the sample collection process when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of phlebotomy equipment.
• Ensure all required consumables and collection materials are available before visiting patients.
• Report any sample-related issue, rejection, spillage, or incident immediately to the supervisor.
• Follow all company SOPs, laboratory protocols, and safety guidelines.
