Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Interior Site Supervisor to manage day-to-day site activities and ensure that interior projects are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.

The candidate should have practical knowledge of interior execution, site coordination, manpower management, material planning and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Supervision

- Supervise daily interior site activities and ensure smooth execution of work.

- Monitor execution as per approved drawings, specifications and instructions.

- Coordinate activities involving civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, ceiling, flooring and other interior works.

- Ensure work is completed as per project timelines.

- Monitor daily progress and report delays or site-related issues.

2. Manpower Management

- Manage and supervise carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, fabricators and other site workers.

- Allocate daily work to labour and subcontractors.

- Monitor labour productivity, attendance and workmanship.

- Ensure proper utilisation of manpower.

3. Drawing & Technical Coordination

- Read and understand architectural, interior and MEP drawings.

- Coordinate with project engineers, designers and consultants for technical clarifications.

- Identify drawing discrepancies and report them before execution.

- Ensure that no work is carried out without proper approval wherever required.

4. Material Management

- Prepare daily material requirements and coordinate with the office for procurement.

- Monitor material consumption and avoid unnecessary wastage.

- Check material quality and quantity received at site.

- Maintain proper material storage and site inventory.

5. Quality Control

- Ensure quality of carpentry, modular furniture, partitions, false ceilings, flooring, painting, polishing and finishing works.

- Check dimensions, levels, alignments and finishing.

- Identify defects and ensure rectification.

- Maintain proper housekeeping and site safety.

6. Reporting & Documentation

- Submit daily site progress reports with photographs.

- Maintain labour attendance and material consumption records.

- Report site constraints, delays and additional work requirements.

- Coordinate measurements and work completion records.

- Assist in preparing snag lists and closing pending works.

7. Client & Contractor Coordination

- Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, vendors and subcontractors.

- Attend site meetings as required.

- Ensure smooth coordination between different agencies working at site.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Civil Engineering or Interior Design preferred.

- 5–7 years of experience in interior site execution.

- Good knowledge of interior finishing and execution activities.

- Ability to read and understand interior and MEP drawings.

- Good manpower and subcontractor management skills.

- Knowledge of material estimation and site measurements.

- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, WhatsApp and email reporting.

- Strong coordination, problem-solving and communication skills.

- Timely completion of assigned work.

- Quality of workmanship and finishing.

- Effective manpower utilisation.

- Minimum material wastage.

- Proper coordination between agencies.

- Timely submission of daily progress reports.

- Minimum snag points and rework.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be hands-on, disciplined, proactive and capable of independently handling day-to-day interior site execution with minimum supervision.
